NAMA ANNOUNCES ITS NEXT GEN WINNERS
National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) reports:

The National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) is pleased to announce the winners of the Next Gen NAMA Award. This is a new award developed to celebrate the next generation of leaders. Honorees are nominated by their supervisor or manager within their company or through chapter or national leadership.

Tyler Clarke
Honorees must be NAMA members. The five recipients for 2017 are Tyler Clarke, Advantage Agri-Marketing Services; Cliff Dolbeare, GROWMARK, Inc.; Beth Geary, Wheat Growers; Colin Pennington, Monsanto; and Jennifer Saylor, J.L. Farmakis, Inc.

Tyler Clarke is partner and co-founder of Advantage Agri-Marketing Services, located in Lexington, KY. The agency focuses on farms, ranches and businesses rooted in agriculture.

Although he oversees every department, Clarke's main role is within the areas of strategy and business development. Clarke not only manages sales, growth, and internal business functions, but also oversees customer service and client relations.

In addition, Clarke is an integral piece in the development of creative, effective marketing strategies. Clarke is proactive by sharing NAMA news and updates with team members on the company calendar to ensure that all are taking advantage of, and benefiting from, the many opportunities the association has to offer.

Cliff Dolbeare
Cliff Dolbeare is a Digital Communication and PR Manager at GROWMARK, Inc., an agricultural cooperative providing agronomy, energy, facility planning, and logistics products and services, as well as grain marketing and risk management services.

Dolbeare gathers appropriate intelligence and identifies pertinent issues to position GROWMARK for addressing emerging issues. Dolbeare led a redesign of eResource, the GROWMRK system extranet site used to communicate system information with member companies throughout the country. He is active in NAMA and has attended local and national chapter events since joining the GROWMARK team. He also supports student chapters and their competitions, providing feedback on team presentations.

Beth Geary
Beth Geary is the Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Wheat Growers, an innovative grain and agronomy cooperative in North and South Dakota. Since Geary started at Wheat Growers, she has persevered through staffing issues, stringent budgets and a culture that was unsupportive of marketing.

Geary encourages collaboration among departments and fosters an autonomous culture where other employees feel free to share ideas. She has been working with suppliers to co-brand marketing materials and cost share. Geary is the Vice President of the Northern Prairie NAMA Chapter.

She encourages other colleagues to be a part of NAMA and to attend chapter and national events.

Colin Pennington
Colin Pennington works for Monsanto, a sustainable agriculture company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Pennington has worked in the marketing industry for more than 10 years, with over eight of those years dedicated to the agriculture industry.

Throughout his participation in NAMA, Pennington has made valiant efforts to improve and re-invigorate the Gateway chapter by incorporating the use of an advisory committee and promoting aggressive recruitment of young members and new board members.

Pennington is President of the Gateway chapter and served as a member of the 2013 NAMA Fall Conference Committee. He has served as a Student NAMA Competition Judge and participates in the Student NAMA Mentor program.

Jennifer Saylor
Jennifer Saylor is the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at J.L. Farmakis, Inc., one of the oldest independent rep firms in the United States; it has one of the most experienced sales forces in the country.

Saylor joined J.L. Farmakis in 2012. In 2013, Saylor was asked to lead the company's digital efforts (Farmakis Digital Network), working with 30 properties to upgrade their digital offerings and educate and lead the sales staff. Saylor is very involved in the MoKan NAMA Chapter and in national NAMA events.

She held the position of Programming Chair for two years and developed programs that would offer continued education and growth to the chapter members. She has served as both Vice President and President of the MoKan NAMA Chapter.

The Next Gen NAMA Awards will be presented at the 2017 Agri-Marketing Conference in Dallas. The honorees will receive their awards on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. For more information on the Conference, visit https://nama.org/amc/home-2017.
